We were able to skype with the girls again today - that is 3 times this week. I have said for over 3 years I was going to start doing this and now I am finally getting around to it. I did do journal entries for Annika when she spent time with us in the summer - but I haven't even gotten the scrapbooks done for the girls.
Annika was sick this past week (along with myself) so we were sharing misery on the phone. Nora was her busy little self - she still is pointing to things and grunting but she will start speaking when she is ready.
For some reason this past week I am trying to convince myself that we need to move closer to the kids - not California - but at least drivable distance. We'll see what happens with that. I'm about 85 percent ready to sell and find a job.
Nora doesn't talk or listen to us on Skype but then when Annika was her age we talked with Annika at least 3 to 4 times a week - and with Nora we seldom talked with on Skype.
Annika told us today that she saw Mickey and Minnie Mouse at the Santa Monica Peir, she saw a roller coaster but didn't go on it as it went to fast.
Love those Skype sessions with our girls.
